A plant-derived flavanoid. Cell-permeable. Inhibits PIM1 kinase (IC= 1.1 M), PI 3-Kinase (IC= 3.8 M) and phospholipase A2 (IC= 2 M). Also acts as an anti-tumor agent; induces apoptosis and inhibits synthesis of heat shock proteins.
