Luria Broth 1 Liter Buffered Capsules [Miller's LB Broth]

RPI Media is now available in convenient pre-measured and pre-mixed capsules. Prebuffered media eliminates messy weighing and pH adjustments. Simply dissolve 1 capsule per 1 Liter of distilled water. Water must be 37°C or warmer to completely dissolve gelatin capsule. Agitate. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes before use. Buffer is set for 7.2 at 20°C using a 10mM solution of Tris/Tris HCl. pH will vary depending on temperature.

• For maintenance and propagation of E. Coli
• Molecular Biology Grade Tryptone: 10 g/L
• Sodium Chloride: 10 g/L
• Yeast Extract: 5 g/L
• Tris/Tris HCl: 1.5 g/L
