Immunologically inactive. Does not bind to immunophilin. Potent inhibitor of tumor promoting phorbol esters. Potent inhibitor of Ca/calmodulin dependent EF-2 phosphorylation in vitro. Potent and selective antagonist of formyl peptide receptor. Inhibits formyl peptide-induced superoxide formation.
