  • Rubella antigen is suitable for ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for detection of Rubella Virus with minimal specificity problems. The E.Coli derived recombinant protein contains the Rubella Virus E1 regions, 157-176, 374-390, 213-239 amino acids. The protein is fused to a GST-tag. 20mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 1.5M urea, 10mM b-mercaptoethanol and 25% glycerol. Rubella protein was purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.
