Involvement in Disease: Eosinophil peroxidase deficiency: A rare abnormality without clinical symptoms characterized by decreased or absent peroxidase activity and decreased volume of the granule matrix in eosinophils.
Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the peroxidase family. XPO subfamily.
Cellular Location: Cytoplasmic granule.
