Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to E-Ras (C226)
Specificity: E-Ras (C226) pAb detects endogenous levels of E-Ras protein.
Applications: WB, IF
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 190-248 of Human E-Ras.

Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Function: Ras proteins bind GDP/GTP and possess intrinsic GTPase activity. Plays an important role in the tumor-like growth properties of embryonic stem cells (By similarity).
