Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to DRAK1
Specificity: No cross responses to DRAK2, DAP or ZIP kinases.
Applications: E, WB, ICC
Reactivity: Human
Immunogen: Raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acids near the amino terminus of human DRAK1.
Host: Rabbit

Purification: Affinity chromatography purified via peptide column
Formulation: Supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Storage: Can be stored at -20˚C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
Function: Acts as a positive regulator of apoptosis. Also acts as a regulator of cellular reactive oxygen species.
Tissue Specificity: Highly expressed in placenta. Lower levels in heart, lung, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas.
Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase family. DAP kinase subfamily.
Post-Translational Modification: Autophosphorylated.
Cellular Location: Nucleus.
