Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to CX3CR1

Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
Immunogen: Raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acids 2 to 21 of human CX3CR1. The sequence differs from those of mouse and rat CX3CR1 by four amino acids.
Host: Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal

Purification: Affinity chromatography purified via peptide column
Formulation: Supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Storage: Can be stored at -20?C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
Function: Receptor for the CX3C chemokine fractalkine (CX3CL1); binds to CX3CL1 and mediates both its adhesive and migratory functions.
Tissue Specificity: Most abundant in ***** spinal cord, brain, kidney, gut, uterus and testes.
Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
Post-Translational Modification: This protein is not N-glycosylated which is unusual for G-protein-coupled receptors.
Cellular Location: Cell membrane.
