Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to CLC-4
Specificity: CLC-4 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of CLC-4 protein.

Involvement in Disease: Mental retardation, X-linked 49: A disorder characterized by significantly below average general intellectual functioning associated with impairments in adaptive behavior and manifested during the developmental period. Intellectual deficiency is the only primary symptom of non-syndromic X-linked mental retardation, while syndromic mental retardation presents with associated physical, neurological and/or psychiatric manifestations.
Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the chloride channel (TC 2.A.49) family. ClC-4/CLCN4 subfamily.
Cellular Location: Early endosome membrane. Late endosome membrane. Endoplasmic reticulum membrane.
