Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to c-Myb (R6)
Specificity: c-Myb (R6) pAb detects endogenous levels of c-Myb protein.
Applications: WB, IHC, IF

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide, corresponding to the N-terminus of Human c-Myb.

Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Function: Transcriptional activator; DNA-binding protein that specifically recognize the sequence 5'-YAAC[GT]G-3'. Plays an important role in the control of proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells.
Post-Translational Modification: Ubiquitinated; mediated by SIAH1 and leading to its subsequent proteasomal degradation.
Cellular Location: Nucleus.
