Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to BICD1
Specificity: At least two isoforms of BICD1 are known to exist; this antibody will only recognize the larger isoform.
Applications: E, WB, ICC
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
Immunogen: Raised against a 15 amino acid peptide from near the carboxy terminus of human BICD1.

Formulation: Supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.

Function: Regulates coat complex coatomer protein I (COPI)-independent Golgi-endoplasmic reticulum transport by recruiting the dynein-dynactin motor complex.
Tissue Specificity: Expressed in the brain, heart and skeletal muscle.
Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the BicD family.
Cellular Location: Golgi apparatus.
