Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Bcl-B

Immunogen: Raised against a 16 amino acid peptide from near the amino terminus of human Bcl-B.

Formulation: Supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Storage: Can be stored at -20˚C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
Function: Promotes cell survival. Suppresses apoptosis induced by BAX but not BAK.
Tissue Specificity: Widely expressed in ***** tissues. Preferentially expressed in lung, liver and kidney.
Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the Bcl-2 family.
Cellular Location: Mitochondrion. Nucleus membrane.
