Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to AXIN2
Specificity: AXIN2 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with AXIN2. At least four isoforms of AXIN2 are known to exist; this antibody will recognize all four.
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
Immunogen: Raised against a 20 amino acid peptide near the carboxy terminus of human AXIN2.
Host: Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Purification: Affinity chromatography purified via peptide column
Formulation: Supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Storage: Can be stored at -20?C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
Function: Inhibitor of the Wnt signaling pathway. Down-regulates beta-catenin. Probably facilitate the phosphorylation of beta-catenin and APC by GSK3B (By similarity).
Tissue Specificity: Expressed in lung and thymus.
Post-Translational Modification: Probably phosphorylated by GSK3B and dephosphorylated by PP2A.
Cellular Location: Cytoplasm.
