Immunogen: Raised against a 17 amino acid peptide near the carboxy terminus of human ATG9B.

Formulation: Supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Storage: Can be stored at -20˚C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
Function: Involved in autophagy and cytoplasm to vacuole transport (Cvt) vesicle formation. Plays a key role in the organization of the preautophagosomal structure/phagophore assembly site (PAS), the nucleating site for formation of the sequestering vesicle.
Tissue Specificity: Expressed in heart, brain, and placenta and testis.
Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the ATG9 family.
Cellular Location: Cytoplasmic vesicle > Autophagosome membrane.
