Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to SKIL (D652)
Specificity: SKIL (D652) pAb detects endogenous levels of Ski-like protein.
Applications: WB, IHC
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 630-670 of Human SKIL.
Host: Rabbit

Molecular Weight: ~ 77 kDa
Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Product Form: 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.
Function: May have regulatory role in cell division or differentiation in response to extracellular signals.
Tissue Specificity: Isoform SNON and isoform SNOA are widely expressed. Highest expression is found in skeletal muscle, followed by placenta and lung. Lowest expression in heart, brain and pancreas. Isoform SNOI expression is restricted to skeletal muscle.
Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the SKI family.
Post-Translational Modification: Ubiquitinated by RNF111 and RNF165, promoting proteasomal degradation, leading to enhance the BMP-Smad signaling.
