Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the ammonium transporter (TC 2.A.49) family. Rh subfamily.
Post-Translational Modification: N-glycosylated.
Cellular Location: Apical cell membrane.

Also detected at the basolateral membrane and in subapical vesicles.
