Tissue Specificity: Widely expressed with higher expression in brain (at protein level).
Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the TPPP family.
Post-Translational Modification: Poor substrate for GSK3. Phosphorylated by LIMK1 on serine residues. Phosphorylation may alter the tubulin polymerization activity.
Cellular Location: Cytoplasm. Cytoplasm > Cytoskeleton. Nucleus.
