Specificity: Acidic cytokeratins (40, 48, 50, 50', 56,5 kDa) according to pI < 5.7.

Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the intermediate filament family.
Post-Translational Modification: Undergoes deimination of some arginine residues (citrullination).
