Description: The MwReg30 antibody binds to murine integrin alphaIIb chain, that non-covalently associates with the beta3 chain to form the integrin alphaIIb beta3 (GPIIbIIIa), a platelet receptor for a number of ligands, including fibrinogen, von Willebrand factor, fibronectin, and vitronectin. Fab fragments of MwReg30 have been reported to specifically label platelets in experimental settings during intravital microscopy. This highly concentrated antibody preparation is optimized for digest of immunoglobulins used for in vivo platelet labeling. Use of intact IgG results in thrombocytopenia and acute systemic reactions!
