E Carinatus Viper Venom Prothrombin Activator


Purified from E Carinatus Viper (Echis Carinatus Viper: Indian saw-scaled viper) Venom. Metal dependant endopeptidase that cleaves the Arg332-Ile323 bond in prothrombin to form meizothrombin. This protease is inhibited by EDTA, DTT and o-phenanthroline. ECV-II is a single chain glycoprotein and is highly pure and homogenous by SDS-PAGE.
