Linear Polyethylenimine HCl MAX, Mw 160,000 (PEI MAX 160000) is a fully hydrolyzed (deacylated), highly water soluble hydrochloride salt form of our Linear Polyethylenimine, Mw 100,000 (PEI 100000, Catalog # 25414). PEI MAX 160000 contains a longer contiguous ethyleneimine segments resulting in more than 11% increase in protonable nitrogens than PEI 100000.

PEI MAX 160000 is supplied as a hydrochloride salt for ease of handling and high water solubility. PEI MAX 160000 can be converted into the linear free amine (PEI) form by neutralization with base.
