Polyethylenimine Hydrochloride, Linear (MW 4,000)

Polyethylenimine HCl MAX, Linear, Mw 4,000 (PEI MAX 4000) is a fully hydrolyzed (deacylated), highly water soluble hydrochloride salt form of our Polyethylenimine, Linear, Mw 2,500 (PEI 2500, Catalog # 24313). PEI MAX 4000 contains a longer contiguous ethyleneimine segments resulting in more than 11% additional free (protonable) nitrogens than PEI 2500.

PEI MAX 4000 is supplied as a hydrochloride salt for ease of handling and high water solubility. PEI MAX 4000 can be converted into the linear free amine (PEI) form by neutralization with base.
