Provides a thin film-like barrier when a circle is drawn around a specimen. The hydrophobic circle is designed to withstand temperatures up to 120° C and can be applied directly to wet slides. This barrier creates the proper surface tension to hold antibody solution within the target area on a slide. Effective for immunology staining by PAP methods, ABC method, frozen section methods & fluorescent antibody methods.
