Amyloid Stain Kit (Congo Red)

Complete kit to aid in the staining of tissue for Amyloidosis. Amyloid Stain Kit used in the detection of amyloid in formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue sections as well as frozen tissue .Recommended section thickness is 10 microns.

Control tissue: Alzheimer’s or other known amyloidosis.

Stains up to 125 slides

Kit contains: 250ml bottle of each: Congo Red Solution A, Alkaline Alcohol Solution B, Gill's Hematoxylin #3 Solution C.

Results:The amyloid stains red and the nuclei stains blue.
