CEERAM, The European Centre for Expertise and Research on Microbial Agents, is an independent, innovative laboratory specialising in the genetic identification (DNA/RNA) of viruses, bacteria, parasites and fungi. The company was created by Benoît Lebeau (president) and Fabienne Loisy-Hamon (scientific director)

CEERAM is located at the very heart of Nantes' pole of excellence. We are accompanied and supported by Atlanpole, OSEO and the Pays de la Loire region

The CEERAM laboratory is managed by Dr. Fabienne Loisy-Hamon, a microbiologist, specialist in molecular virology and expert to the European Committee for Standardisation.

CEERAM is supported by its scientific committee comprising 8 full-time experts and is more than willing to seek assistance from external experts in order to broaden its field of expertise and investigation.
