Beacle Inc. was founded in 2002 by professors of four universities (Osaka, Keio, Kobe, and Okayama) in order to industrialize Bionanocapsule which was co-invented by them.

Bionanocapsule（BNC）is a hollow nano-sized particle that is produced by expressing HBV’s surface protein in yeast. BNC, being similar to the envelop of HBV in structure and function, can be utilized for various purposes.

based on the BNC technology, we develops drug delivery system (DDS) by using BNC’s cellular delivery ability, highly sensitive Multi-Antibody Detection (MAD) system by using BNC consisted of antibody-binding proteins, new types of HBV vaccine by using BNC expressing the surface antigen identical to natural HBV. We also develop research reagents products for HBV- and Immunoassay-related fields.

Beacle, Inc. 以工业化制造 "Bio-nanocapsule" 有名，目前与日本多所大学合作进行实验与研究。Bio-nanocapsule (BNC) 本质为中空的纳米级微粒，其上具有利用基因转殖酵母菌生产之B型肝炎表面抗原─L-protein，此抗原可专一性辨识人类肝细胞，并借此将内涵物送入目标细胞质内，是具有极大发展潜力之药物制放系统 (drug delivery system, DDS)。Beacle, Inc. 仍在积极开发多样化BNC作为其他种类细胞之药物制放系统。
