Aalto Bio Reagents supplies a broad range of purified human proteins; polyclonal antisera; purified monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies; fungal, protozoan, bacterial and viral antigens; and disease state plasma for in-vitro diagnostic application. The company commenced operations in May 1979 to meet the growing biological raw material needs of the in-vitro diagnostics industry. The sales team is spearheaded by the Joint Managing Directors Dr. Peter O'Boyle and Dr. Aidan O払oyle, ably supported by Audrey Bradley (B.Sc.) and Sarah McElroy (M.Sc.).
Aalto Bio Reagents Ltd is situated in Rathfarnham Village at the foot of the Dublin Mountains. The magnificent grounds of Rathfarnham Castle provide the perfect backdro for our team photo.

COMPANY HISTORY
1979 - Aalto Bio Reagents commenced operations to meet the growing biological raw material needs of the in-vitro diagnostics industry.
1993 - We participated for the first time at MEDICA.
1996 - As an essential part of the development plan for the company we applied and were accepted on our first attempt for registration to the ISO 9002 : 1994 quality standard.
1998 - To accomodate our ever expanding business we moved to large new premises at Rathfarnham Village, in Dublin's suburbs.
2001 - Aalto Bio Reagents became one of the first companies in Ireland to be accepted for registration to the new updated ISO 9001:2000 quality standard and in 2009 we upgraded to ISO 9001:2008.
2008 - Awarded imp0rt permit and storage facility approval number by the Irish Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine to allow imp0rtation of animal antisera for further use in production of in-vitro diagnostic reagents.
2012 - Aalto Bio Reagents now employs 12 people including the three working Directors Drs Peter and Aidan O'Boyle and Marie O'Boyle.
