Nordic was established in 1964 with a focus onimmunology and holds over 1.700 specific antisera to human, mouse, monkey andrat immunoglobulin classes and their subclasses. Of interest may also be a widerange of polyclonal antisera to other serum proteins of different animalspecies and a unique series of polyclonal antisera against enzymes. Practicallyall antibodies are also offered as fluorescent and horse¬radish peroxidaseconjugates as well as biotin conjugates for labels of the customers own choice.
MUbio was created in 2000 and was spun out ofMaastricht University in the Netherlands which gave rise to its name. Since itsinception MUbio has developed 500 of its own products, many of which areexclusive clones available only to MUbio.
On 4 February 2013, Nordic ImmunologicalLaboratories BV acquired the assets of MUbio Products BV and in doing sochanged its name to Nordic-MUbio. On 11th December 2013 Nordic-MUbio continuedits rapid growth with the acquisition of the assets of An Der Grub Bio ResearchGmbH (ADG), extending the product range with Flow Cytometry products like theFIX&PERM® Cell Fixation and Permeabilization Kit.

Our products are all highly validated; over 80% of our antibodies are tested in immunohistochemistry on frozen tissues, almost 70% of our products have been testd in Flow Cytometry and over 50% are testedin Western Blot. Other applications include IHC on paraffin embedded tissues(40%), immunoprecipitation (15%) and immunofluorescence (6%).
