GERBU was founded in 1986 to set up biochemical production and to trade from Germanywith Bulgaria (Ger-Bu) and Russia; it counts on experience and contactsspanning two generations. Its focus today is west-west trade; good connections,however, have allowed us to build up bulk business worldwide.
The GERBU ADJUVANT PROJECT: Research wasstarted in our laboratories followed by extended animal studies in USA(Seattle, San Diego), Vilnius (Latvia), Sofia (Bulgaria), BGVV (Berlin) and thebiochemistry laboratory at ETH (Zurich). Eight years later we had the desiredformula, described in eight patents and two publications. GERBU ADJUVANTdrastically improves the yield of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies. Itcould even help developing better and cheaper vaccines for veterinary andpharmaceutical use. GERBU ADJUVANT will help make better and cheapervaccines against major viral infections such as Hepatitis B and HIV. It alsodrastically improves the yield of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies.
In 1990 we established GERBU BIOCHEMICALSMART, our retail division for OEM price supply of biochemicals, reagents,nutrient media & ingredients. Our customers are based worldwide and rangefrom universities to industry and pharmaceutical research companies.
