Protein G Agarose Resin

Description

    Recombinant Protein G (conjugated to agarose resin) binds preferentially to the Fc region of a broad range of IgG classes and subclasses from human, mouse, and rat as well as those from guinea pig, rabbit, goat, cow, sheep and horse. Recombinant Protein G is a bacterial cell wall derived protein that is expressed by some members of the group C and G Streptococcal strains.

Applications/Features

    Protein G Agarose Resin offers a high specificity, high affinity adsorbent system for the purification of IgGs from serum, hybridoma ascites, tissue culture supernatants and other biological fluids.
    Protein G Agarose Resin is supplied as a liquid suspension in 20% ethanol and can be used in batch or column purifications of IgG.
