Description abm’s DNA Purification SPRI (Solid Phase Reversible Immobilization) Magnetic Beads are formulated to bind specifically to DNA and allow the removal of unwanted excess primers, adapter dimers, salts and enzymes from a wide variety of reactions. SPRI beads work by binding DNA reversibly to carboxyl-coated paramagnetic particles, allowing for high recovery of DNA using a quick and simple procedure. They can be used for PCR purification, NGS library prep cleanup, or even DNA concentration. Our DNA purification SPRI magnetic beads offer added flexibility due to their ability to size-select the DNA fragments which bind simply by changing the DNA:Beads ratio.

Application For DNA purification and size selection.
5 ml sufficient for 100-500 preps.
50 ml sufficient for 1000-5000 preps.
Form Liquid; Beads appear brown and may settle during storage. Vortex mix thoroughly before use.

Storage Store tightly sealed at 4°C. Freezing may reduce binding efficiency of beads.
Notes Bring to room temperature 30 minutes before use and vortex mix vigorously to thoroughly resuspend the beads.
A magnetic separation rack is required (not included).
